Who Am I

To Stop It

Who Am I To Stop is a feature-length, semi-observational exploration of isolation, art, and transformation after traumatic brain injury. We witness Dani, a mixed-race lesbian who has no connections to the brain injury or disability community and considerable family tension around her sexuality, as she graduates after seven years of high school post-brain injury.

Cheryl blends her academic backgrounds in Performance as Public Practice and Speech-language Pathology to create media and presentations around disability issues that honor disability culture, intersecting marginalized identities, and using advocating the arts over medicalizing disabled people's lives. She began creating film in 2010.
